Payroll SAP Specialist
Immediate start- Temporary cover (6-9 months)
Salary £13- 15ph + Excellent benefits package
Remote working/ Leeds
An immediate start for an interim Payroll Specialist with SAP expereince to join this fast paced payroll team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to add value and make an immediate impact at a demanding time for this team. You must have strong payroll technical experience and be confident working remotely.
Responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring high levels of accuracy when dealing with the weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll cycle and manage this effectively and efficiently
* Assisting with payroll related queries about pay such as tax and NI, pensions, pension auto enrolment and gross and net pay
* Assisting with furlough and COVID19 related impacts on the business
* Keeping up to date with all payroll, benefits and pensions legislation
* Processing new starters, terminations, adjustments and P45's and liaising with HR staff where needed
* Maintain sickness records and monitoring against entitlement
* Process payment to outsourced staff
* Assisting with balancing of Income Tax, NI Contributions, SMP, SSP etc. and preparing the disbursement for HMRC at the end of each month
This role will suit someone with a strong working knowledge of payroll within a large organisation and are fully competent in PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, Tax Credit etc. SAP experience is highly desirable. Excellent IT skills are necessary especially Microsoft excel.
