HGV Class 1 Sequence Drivers

StaffCo Direct are actively recruiting for HGV Class 1 sequence drivers for one of our extremely well recognised clients based in Burnaston, Derby.

We are looking for highly motivated, flexible drivers who are able to take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day to day operation.

These roles are perfect for drivers who are tired of long haulage and having to work various start times and hours around the clock as the shift times will be fixed Monday to Thursday 20:00 Friday 18:00 OR Monday to Thursday 19:00 Friday 17:00 depending upon which sequence you get placed onto. The role involves short runs (approx. 3 to 5 per shift) to a local supplier and then returning back to the clients site the furthest of the sequence runs being approx. 15 miles each way.

Shifts average between 9-10 hours per day.

The Job:

The role will involve local collections of car parts - typically 3 to 5 per shift
Ongoing work all year round
No handball
Start times throughout the day and night to suit
Average 9-10 hours per shift
Monday to Friday working patterns
Optional weekend overtime available
Rates of Pay:

Hourly Rate: £14.75 rising to £17.87 after 8 hours
Basic Requirements:

Valid HGV C+E Licence held for minimum 1 year
Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO
No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
FLT Counterbalace licence would be advantageous but not essential
Excellent level or English
Hardworking
Good Timekeeping
Reliable
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
