Extra Drivers, working with a national logistics company require HGV Class 1 drivers to work at a retail distribution centre in Swindon. This opportunity will reward successful drivers with ongoing, full time work and excellent earning potential. As a professional HGV Class 1 driver you will be expected to represent the company in a professional and safe manner at all times.

The role will include the delivery of products to store locations and the amount of deliveries will depend on the distance needed to be travelled, daily drops increasing if the deliveries are local to the distribution centre. You will be expected to support the loading of your vehicle, to ensure safety and required to unload the vehicle at the customer locations. Commercial driving experience is essential for this role.

Successful applicants will be required to pass a driving assessment, which upon completion we will agree a rota pattern to suit.

Pay rates for both PAYE and Ltd Co HGV Class 1 driver are as follows -

PAYE
£11.75 per hour - Monday to Friday Days
£12.25 per hour - Monday to Friday Nights
£13.50 per hour - Saturdays
£15.00 per hour - Sundays
Ltd Co
£15.00 per hour - Monday to Friday Days
£15.50 per hour - Monday to Friday Nights
£17.00 per hour - Saturdays
£18.50 per hour - SundaysHGV Class 1 driver requirements -

Full UK HGV Class 1 license (C+E)
No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences (No DD or IN)
Valid digi and cpc cardsHGV Class 1 driver details -

Pay Rates
PAYE - £11.75 to £15.00 per hour
Ltd Co - £15.00 to £18.50 per hour
