Purestaff are recruiting for a Panel Beater/Fitter. Immediate start available!!
Temp to Perm position!!
The ideal Panel Beater/Fitter would be able to complete all aspects of body work, including stripping and refitting trim and panel interior. Refitting new / repaired panels and repairing small dents and minor body work for accident damaged vehicles.
Key Responsibilities of a Panel Beater/fitter:
Work in a safe and economical manner, abiding to health and safety guidelines.
Restore vehicles to a high standard. (Ensuring customer satisfaction).
Be able to observe vehicle issues and report back.
Have the knowledge of what parts would be needed for repair.
Repair panel damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition
Use specialist body repair equipment - measuring equipment, body jigs, welding equipment and smart repair tools.
Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers, or that faults have been reported and noted on job card.
Keep all work areas and workshop clean and tidy and free from hazards.
Work to time directives, ensuring deadlines are met.
The ideal Panel beater/fitter would:
Be able to work well in a team environment.
Be able to think on their feet. (Good Decision Making/Problem solving skills).
Good H&S knowledge/awareness and compliance.
Previous experience as a Panel beater/fitter elsewhere.
Other aspects of industry relevant experiences/knowledge would be advantageous.
Hours of work for this Panel beater/fitter position would be;
- 0800 until 1700 Monday to Friday (possible early finish on Fridays).
The pay for this position is dependent on previous experience/skill level
- Between £11 - 14.50 per hour
