1:1 Teaching Assistant - Manchester
Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants in the Manchester area who have experience or have a clear passion and desire for working with children with additional needs.
Our schools support pupils with various learning difficulties and disabilities, in particular Autism, so we are looking for candidates that are compassionate, patient and calm with a desire to help others. You will be working alongside the class teacher delivering class-based learning to pupils, out of classroom support for small group and 1:1 and supporting them with learning various core subjects.
Job Responsibilities
Supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties
Work closely with the Teacher to ensure students are keeping on track
Able to stay calm and able to de-escalate challenging BehaviourBenefits to you
Excellent rates of pay £68-£75 a day
Flexible work to suit around you
Dedicated consultants who listen to your needsJob Requirements
Living in Manchester is desirable but not essential
Eligibility to work in the UK
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
