CRIME REDUCTION OFFICER
HOUNSLOW
£20-26 HOURLY RATE
MONDAY - FRIDAY- 8.45AM - 5PM
6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT (POSSIBILITY OF BEING EXTENDED)
IMMEDIATE START
Please note this role will be working remotely until further notice.
MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
To solely lead on the implementing the borough's Violence Reduction Plan through co-ordinating partnership activities through the Serious Crime Delivery Group
To provide leadership, expert advice and guidance to senior officers on best practice and knowledge on reducing violent and serious crime
To deliver all key projects linked to reducing violent and serious crime
To develop communication and publicity materials to raise awareness on crime matters
To prepare written reports, briefings, external funding bids, protocols and minutes as required and deliver presentations to a wide variety of stakeholders
THE IDEAL CRIME REDUCTION OFFICER MUST:
Be highly experienced in the field of community safety
Have the ability to multi-task competing workloads in a pressured environment
Have the ability to work with residents and senior officers
Hold a track record in delivering partnership performance indicators
Have advanced communication skills
