Purchase Ledger

Full time (between the hours of 8am - 5pm)
You will be maintaining aspects of the Purchase Ledger and ensuring that all suppliers are paid in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, you will also be required to provide assistance to the Finance Manager.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:
Matching and processing a high volume of supplier purchase invoices
Liaising with the purchasing department to process debit notes
Deal with supplier queries to resolve any issues
Allocate and post manual payments to supplier accounts
Checking and reconciling supplier statements
Handle internal and external enquires
Providing financial information to the Finance Manager as required;
Ensure all purchase administration duties are completed and any other general accounts and administration as and when needed.You will ideally possess the following:
1 year+ experience of Purchase Ledger processing with a background of processing high volumes of invoices
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Personable and excellent communicator
Be proactive and have a positive approach to undertaking all tasks
Have the ability to prioritise and manage their workload
Ensure being part of a team;
Enjoy working in a small company environment.
