Support Worker

Working as a Support Worker as part of a motivated and inclusive team, you'll be assisting people with learning disabilities such as autism and other mental health issues.

You'll already have experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant in either temporary or permanent jobs. Comfortable working alone or in a team, you'll be conscientious in reporting to your line manager and participating in training, where necessary, and be respectful of confidentiality issues.

The experience we are looking for in this role is -

A minimum of 6 months work experience in a care setting
You'll be great at building relationships and communicating with service users, their families and other professionals
You'll be calm, positive, sensitive and empathetic to individual needs
You'll be prepared to work flexibly
