Payroll Administrator
Do you have experience in working with a complex payroll and pension system in a large organisation? Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team based in Brackley.
We are a leading supplier of Poultry products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and food service sectors. With ambitious plans for the future, there hasn’t been a more exciting time to join us.

Purpose of the role
As a Payroll Administrator you will provide excellent, customer focussed payroll function in support of the strategic objectives of the shared service department to deliver key performance indicators as per the service level agreement with the participatory sites. We currently payroll 6500 employees, a mixture of monthly and weekly paid employees.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure that all employee salaries, wages, allowances and deductions are accurately
• Processing of new starters, leavers and changes to pay each pay period
• Understand and calculate statutory payments
• Maintain excellent relationships with 3rd party service providers
• Monitor and assess expense claims for legitimacy and accuracy, reject claims where necessary and keep a record of those rejected
• Liaise with pension providers with regard to employee pension entitlements
What we are looking for:
• Previous experience as a payroll administrator
• Ability to deal with confidential information in line with current legislation and have a basic knowledge of payroll, tax, pension and employment law
• Good verbal and numerical skill
• Strong communication skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate continuous professional development and to contribute to continuous service improvement
