Supply Chain Co-Ordinator
Interaction Recruitment is the UK's fastest growing independent recruiter with offices Nationwide. We are currently recruiting on behalf of the UK’s leading supplier of PPE, safety and hygiene products to the food manufacturing industry. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Co-Ordinator to join their existing team based in Hull (Melton).
Role Specifics
Employment Type: Full-time - 9-month contract – opportunity of permanent work after a successful, initial 9-month maternity cover
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8.30 – 17.00. No weekend working.
£(phone number removed) per annum (pro-rata 9-month contract) – depending on experience.
Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Co-Ordinator, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and be responsible for the acquisition of new stock, management of current stock levels and forecasting customer demand/accurately predicting market trends.
Daily, as part of your role you will deal with suppliers across the world, ensuring your orders are met, chasing up on late deliveries and enquiring on various products you may want to add to the stock list.
What We Are Looking For/Requirements
Experience in Supply Chain/Stock Management – essential
Experience with forecasting demand levels
Strong communication skills
Good team working skills
Professional and positive approach to any client queries or requests
Ensure all administration is completed accurately
