Residential Care Worker - Norwich area - Children and Young People
Salary up to £26,300 per annum
40 days' annual leave
Up to 6% employer pension contribution,
Health benefit and life assurance.
The unique opportunity to become a qualified child psychotherapist whilst working in the children's home.We are currently looking to recruit a Residential Care Worker for a therapeutic residential care setting located near Norwich. Our client has a long and successful history of providing integrated programmes of care, education and treatment for traumatised children and young people aged between 5 to 10 years old with complex emotional and psychological needs.
My client is a teaching organisation and they encourage and facilitate learning of their team by offering opportunities to undertake further psychotherapeutic and management training, leading to a range of academic and professional qualifications.
They are looking for a Residential Care Worker to join their specialist team to support the children and young people, safeguarding and promoting their welfare. Creating a safe environment and nurturing relationships with the children and young people. Knowledge of working in a similar environment is welcomed but they are able to provide support and training to applicants coming from different care & education settings. You will work on a rota basis (45 hours a week plus sleeps) - provided in advance and please note THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO UNDERTAKE SLEEPS.
