Do you have experience of caring for Children?

Vetro Education are working with a School for pupils aged 3-19 with a range of Additional Learning Needs. The School is designed and fully equipped to meet pupils needs. We are seeking applicants who have experience of caring for children with Additional Learning Needs within a private, care or education setting.
The role includes a number of duties;

Supporting pupils with learning tasks

Managing Challenging Behaviour

Confident with assisting with wheelchairs and walking aides

Assisting at break and meal times

Providing Personal Care

The ability to swim is not essential but it is desirable as pupils take part in swimming lessons and hydrotherapy activities.

If you have experience or knowledge of working with a statemented Additional Learning Need, please get in touch.

Minimum requirements:

Minimum of 3 months experience of working with children in an SEND environment - Specifically ASD
Fully enhanced DBS (on the Update service) - ability to obtain a new one
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
EWC registration (School support worker)
Right to work in the UK
