Our client is looking for a Head of Biology

Description
The Biology Department has seven full-time and one part-time members of teaching staff, including the Head of Department and an Assistant Head of Department, and one science technician.
The state of the art laboratory and teaching space is at the leading edge for the delivery of the highest quality of learning and teaching, and represents Britain's biggest new science teaching facility at this level. There are seven purpose built teaching laboratories with ICT and teaching facilities, a Sixth Form laboratory, a department base and extensive storage. The Head of Department has an office within the department.
Biology is taught discretely as part of a common course in S1-S2, National 5 Biology is delivered over two years in S3-S4 and, in S5-S6, Higher and Advanced Higher courses in Biology are offered and all science teachers contribute to the teaching of P7 pupils from our Junior School. Presentations are in the region of 130 at National 5, 80 at Higher, and 45 at Advanced Higher Biology.
Although responsible to the Head of College, the Head of Department's direct link with the Senior Management Team is via one of the Deputy Heads.
