URGENT SUPPORT WORKERS NEEDED IN
LOWESTOFT/IPSWICH
Various shifts available. Pay rate £10 per hour + Sleep in rate of £64.00 per night
My client supports 16-18yr old young people who have moved into their first homes
Duties
You will assist the young person in all areas of living independently and develop life skills, so they have a positive outlook, can show resilience, confidence and self esteem.
Promote well being, help them to be happy in a clean safe environment and assist with daily chores such as Cleaning, Washing, Shopping and Attending appointment.
Provide emotional support to the young people who can have complex and challenging needs.
You will need to ensure that Safeguarding the young people is a priority so you will need to have good communication skills in order to report things back to the line managers and liaise with family and outside organisations.
Ideally you will be a driver and you will need to have business use insurance as you could be asked to use a pool car.
This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to a young persons life.
