7.5 tonne driver

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for our client based in the centre of Derbyshire, they are currently looking for a 7.5 tonne driver to help them cover temporary, peak period requirements.

The job will be completing upto 15 deliveries per day in the local area, all drivers must be prepared to complete long distance runs if necessary but the main bulk of work will be multi-drop. As a 7.5 tonne driver you will be required to take pallets and other items on and off the wagon, for particulalry heavy stuff there will be pump trucks supplied. The shifts will be on days and consist of delivering plumbing merchant equiptment to local building sites.

As the successful candidate to this role, you must have the following skills:

7.5 tonne licence
Hold a CPC and digi-card
Ability to learn and use a hand held delivery device
Have at least 6 months experience on commercial driving
Ideally have worked with multi-drop in the past
Be confortable with pump trucks and handballOur client is looking to take people on through the agency on a long term basis, the job offers anywhere between £9.00ph - £10.00ph dependent on levels of experience, this can be negotiated at point of registration.
