SEND PE LSA for an immediate start in Telford

Required for the start of the new school term; this school based in Telford is looking for an uplifting PE teacher who will contribute to the wider success of the school. You should be comfortable taking on a timetable which will include all year groups within the secondary KS3 to KS5 range and ideally up to the age of 19. The school is highly regarded for its pupil progress and inclusivity in the community.

Looking for an enthusiastic, caring, SEND PE Learning Support Assistant to work with the pre-existing support system; the environment encourages collaboration and supporting other teachers working in the school, some favourable training for the role would include MAPA, first aid and health and safety.

The successful PE teacher will have:

Range of coaching qualifications and a relevant higher-level diploma.
Experience in the sports coaching and/ or education sector.
Experience in a SEND environment.
Ability to deliver high quality sport and physical activity sessions across the School’s curriculum.
Have a knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and be able to implement strategies with an MLD/ SLD class of pupils.
