Data Entry & Analysis Officer – 6 months FTC 

Salary:  £26,317- £30,507 per annum

Location – Service Headquarters, Calcot, Reading

Excellent annual leave allowance of 27 days and Flexible Working Hours Onsite Gym Facilities

An excellent opportunity has arisen within Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service for a Data Entry & Analysis Officer to join the team. You will be responsible for extracting data from electronic databases, providing high quality and accurate reports and reviewing the accuracy of databases, systems and processes.

The key focus of this role is:

  • Input data into electronic databases ensuring data quality
  • Interrogate and extract data from electronic databases
  • Maintain and review the accuracy and efficiency of existing databases and assist with the development and implementation of new databases
  • Analyse data and ensure its integrity
  • Produce detailed, timely and accurate reports and information as required

Key role requirements:

  • Ability to analyse, interpret and present risk and performance data effectively to a variety of audiences in various formats
  • Be able to consider data quality and assurance from collection, through modelling, to reporting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven background with a data, statistical, performance or other analytical role
  • Ability to input and extract data from electronic and manual performance management systems
