PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Development Manager. Join us in crafting The World’s Finest Knitwear!

Successful candidates should possess strong technical ability with Shima and Stoll Knitting Machinery and Programming and be able to effectively challenge existing methods of working to ensure continuous improvement and efficient production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of the New Product Development Team
• Working closely with the Design and Production teams.
• Finding solutions/problem solving to ensure waste is kept to a minimum and prototypes and samples are production ready..
• Continuous improvement of the department
• Producing accurate data and reporting on KPIs for area of responsibility
• Performance management of the Knitting Department

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Proven technical skill and ability in Shima and Stoll Knitting machinery and programming
• Ideally managerial experience within a manufacturing/production environment
• Excellent motivational skills
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and effective management of change
• Intermediate skill with Excel and other Microsoft related products
• Ability to write effective reports
• Excellent ability to communicate and present information to senior management.
• Solid analytical skills when processing varied data from different sources.
