Requirements for Senior Resource Planner:

  • Being accountable for the day to day management of the engineers’ diary taking ownership to ensure engineers time is utilised effectively, using effective route planning, offering first-hand support where required
  • Manage the relevant CRM system appropriately ensuring that sufficient information is captured for analysis.
  • Responsible for scheduling PPM, reactive and quoted tasks for internal engineers, providing a professional and comprehensive service to all clients, achieving the highest standards always.
  • Ensuring tasks are planned and completed within SLA whilst also being aware of cost implication considering engineers routes and skill set
  • Monthly planning of all maintenance tasks ensuring engineers and subcontractors complete tasks as directed within SLA
  • Organising out of hours work with engineers and subcontractors including hire of access equipment when necessary and ensuring hotel accommodation is booked with the Accounts Team as required.
  • Review of internal engineers’ notes for PPM visits.  Recording and reporting on remedial actions, ensuring clients are notified of follow on work.  
  • Ensuring all statutory compliance maintenance tasks and all PPM tasks are completed by internal engineers within SLA.  Upon completion ensuring all tasks carry the relevant certificate and all remedial work is followed up on and easily traceable.
  • Assist with the mobilisation of new contracts, inputting PPM tasks into the system in line with customer requirements and raising purchase orders as requested.
  • Organisation of weekly planning meetings with the operational management team to highlight and discuss any planning issues.  
  • To provide management reporting information on unproductive time/drive time and provide details on what the unproductive time was due to. 

Requirements for Senior Resource Planner:

  • The ability to multitask, to a high standard. Understanding the importance of exceptional attention to detail
  • Logical and methodical.
  • Team player – Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft IT packages (Word / Excel / Email etc.)
  • Proven track record of good organisational skills, including managing workload effectively
  • Flexible with working hours, available between 07:00-18:00
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent geographical knowledge
