 Residential House Manager

40 hours per week/52 weeks per year

£23,490 - £28,175 per annum (including market rate supplement)

+ payment for sleepover of £74

Commencing salary is subject to qualifications and experience

Transform Residential Limited is the associated residential provision of The Ruskin Mill Trust Group which also operates five colleges Birmingham, Horsley (Gloucestershire), Pembrokeshire, Sheffield, and Stourbridge, an associated site in Darlington, as well as an independent specialist school in Sheffield.  We provide innovative and experiential education for children, young people and adults with special learning needs, developed out of the inspiration of Rudolf Steiner, William Morris and John Ruskin.

Working primarily evenings and weekends on a rota basis, the Residential House Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the effective operation of the residential provision
  • Overseeing and supervising the residential staff within one or more residential houses, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supported.
  •  Liaising with parents and other agencies in relation to student issues
  • Ensuring that all activities within the households are in reference to CQC requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of NVQ level 3 in Care or equivalent qualifications and a supervisory/ team leading qualification is desirable.

Experience of supervising and managing a staff team is essential.
