Assistant Warehouse Team Leader / Assistant Goods Out Team Leader

The Candidate:

Having a customer first approach, and the ability to work well in a team to ensure all orders are picked and despatched in a timely and accurate manner you will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work across functions to ensure the customer needs are met.

In addition to assisting, supporting and supervising the Goods Out team you will be responsible for:

• Key contact for managing the picking of orders for a major retail customer.
• Provide holiday and absence cover for the Goods Out Team Leader.
• Review and suggest improvements to the current working practices in order to help increase productivity and ensure stock is available for despatch when required.
• Encourage and develop the team to ensure all health and safety requirements are are met, and the safe use of mechanical handling equipment is always in place.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are met and maintained at all times.

A valid Forklift Truck licence is essential (specifically counter balance and reach truck).
