Fieldings Porter is a long-established Lexcel accredited, full-service law firm with offices in Bolton and Manchester City Centre. We pride ourselves on putting the client first and expect high standards of all our employees.
We have a number of positions across our Bolton and Manchester offices.
We are ideally looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years PQE however other levels of experience will be considered. Membership of the Resolution Panel or either of the Law Society Panels would be a distinct advantage. Experience within family law is essential along with a passion to carry out this type of work.
The work will be within our busy family team undertaking a mixed case load to include private and public law children, divorce and finances.
The main responsibilities of the role are;
- Running a diverse caseload including all aspects of family law, both privately funded and legally aided to high standards of client care
- Specialisms are encouraged, be they purely care work or private dealing with divorce and finances
- Attendance at PLO meetings, county court with advocacy encouraged, briefing counsel and maintaining excellent links with chambers
