REPAIRTECH – SOUTHAM

Full time / Permanent

RepairTech, a division of Clipper Logistics plc, is a leading B2B and consumer electronics repair, refurbishment and return-to-market, service company.  The business is based upon supporting major manufacturers and retailers who need to maximise revenue from returned customer purchases.

The good news is that our continued success and business growth has opened up an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator to join the team.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the overall purpose of the role will be to provide an administration service to the site.

The Role

  • Providing an effective, accurate and responsive HR administration service for the end to end employee life cycle
  • Providing first line HR advice, guidance and support to managers and employees
  • Co-ordinating and supporting recruitment activity throughout the site
  • Managing the on boarding of new employees, including coordinating pre-employment checks and liaising with prospective employees to collect required pre-employment documentation
  • Maintaining HR electronic and paper-based records
  • Providing standard internal reports on HR metrics
  • Collating, preparing and maintaining records for payroll processing purposes.  Supporting with pay queries
  • Providing administration support to the Health and Safety Manager e.g. maintaining training records, organising training
  • General administration tasks e.g. ordering working lunches, distribution of post, reception cover, booking meeting rooms, ordering company consumables and equipment
  • Undertaking projects and other ad hoc duties as required

The Person

  • Has proven experience of working in a similar role
  • Has strong organisational and administration skills
  • Has proven experience of working accurately and paying attention to detail
  • Is an effective communicator (both verbally and in writing)
  • Has excellent IT skills
  • Has the ability to keep calm under pressure and to manage workload in line with changing priorities
  • Is approachable and conscientious and has a strong team ethic
  • Always acts with integrity and confidentiality
  • Is able to work on their own and use their initiative
  • CIPD Level 3 is desirable but not essential
