Job Details

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the committed Residential Team based at Ruskin Mill College based in Nailsworth, Stroud

 

The main purpose of this role is to provide and role model specialist support and engagement strategies to facilitate learning and development, emotional, behavioural support and personal care, and to provide additional support for specific high needs student/s across the 24-hour curriculum

 

You will ensure that the specific support for students with high needs are in place and effective and communicated across the residential and day provision

 

The post holder must have significant experience in a care environment working with all levels of staff and management, high levels of personal resilience, emotional and social intelligence and ideally have knowledge of Rudolf Steiner Holistic Education. You will also have experience of undertaking assessments of students, both independently and jointly alongside other professionals.

Due to the locations of some of our team houses – being a driver with access to your own vehicle would be advantageous.
