Internal Technical Sales

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Internal Technical Sales specialist to work within our small team in Droitwich earning up to £25k per annum + bonus potential.

Established in 2003, Start Electrical Services provides industrial electrical services to a range of companies across industry. In particular, we have specialist skills on systems involving large AC and DC drives. Our in-house expertise allows us to offer the full spectrum of services, including machine design, assembly, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair.

We are a fast growing industry and due to our continued success we are now looking for an experienced Internal Technical Sales specialist to join the team.

Key Tasks:

• Handling general sales enquiries;
• Generating new business from existing contacts and leads;
• Handling, packing and despatching stock items;
• Maintaining the CRM system;
• Entering data and relevant details on to the Accounts system;
• Undertaking general sales administration tasks;

Skills & Experience:

• This is a technical role and therefore a detailed knowledge and understanding of AC & DC motors, drive systems and control systems is essential, as is understanding panels;
• Previous internal sales experience is desirable, but not essential;
• This will be a busy and challenging role and therefore demonstrable administration experience is essential;
• Strong IT skills are required, with significant experience of Microsoft Office packages;
• Experience of working within a website based company would be desirable;
• As this is a small team the ideal candidate will be used to working autonomously, whilst providing support to the team;
• High attention to detail and data accuracy are key;
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written;
• Demonstrable experience of providing high levels of customer service;
