Production Controller – Permanent – Telford

We are currently recruiting with a large manufacturing company in Telford for a new Production Planner / Production Controller / Demand Chain Planner. Based from their site in Telford, this is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader and to work for a supportive and professional employer. You’ll be working as part of their Operations Team and working toward ensuring customer demand is met.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Demand planning / control
  • Updating sales and production plan information
  • Expediting
  • Plan despatch
  • Production Scheduling, creating daily production plans
  • Reduce supply chain costs via capacity planning and inventory control

To be considered for this role you will have worked in a similar role within a mass production, manufacturing / warehousing environment. You will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated & flexible in your approach to work.

You will ideally be HND Leve 4 / degree educated (in a Business Management or Engineering related subject) or equivalent and APICS qualification is also desired.

The role comes with a generous salary, bonus and other benefits.

The Telford site is commutable from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Stafford, Stoke, Birmingham, Bridgnorth, Market Drayton etc
