Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant – Permanent - Telford

We are recruiting for a full time, permanent Management Accounts Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper for their Telford based client. This role is working within a small, successful practice.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Involves the preparation of annual accounts and tax returns
• Preparation of management accounts
• Overseeing filing of clients’ VAT returns
• Completing VAT registrations
• Giving face-to-face and telephone support/training to clients on accounts software
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts

To be considered, you MUST have previous, relevant accounts experience. And will ideally be AAT / ACCA qualified. You will be IT literate (ideally proficient with Ms Office, Quickbooks & Sage 50).

This is a mobile role, so you MUST have a valid UK drivers’ license and your own car (full travel expenses will be paid)

Hours of work are 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday. Salary is DOE plus a generous holiday allowance as well as a study package as appropriate.

This role is commutable (you MUST have your own transport) from Shrewsbury, Telford, Market Drayton, Welshpool, Whitchurch, Shawbury.
