UK Product Manager, FMCG, Global Household Brand.

Circa £40k per annum depending on experience and inclusion in a performance related bonus scheme.

Basildon, Essex.

We are looking for a UK Product Manager to support the growth of a household brand within a global FMCG business, based in Basildon, Essex.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the right product range and the correct marketing mix as well as being responsible for  the marketing plan, managing pricing, vendor relationships, maintaining accurate stock levels, category management and managing a Marketing Assistant position.

Main duties include:

• Managing the annual marketing Plan (Product, Price, Promotion, Distribution)  
• PL account management responsibility for the product categories, controlling sales, margin and expenses
• Negotiation with HQ and other direct suppliers
• Purchasing and forecasting of goods for the UK, stock control and monitoring the flow of goods (imports)

The ideal candidate:

If you have at least 3 years’ proven product management / product marketing experience and at least 2 years’ experience in operational trade marketing from within an FMCG environment, and are looking for an exciting new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
