Accounts Assistant - Bolton Town Centre.

An amazing opportunity has arisen at a new up and coming boutique accountancy business based in Bolton town centre. 

Insight Business Solutions provides both financial and management accounting support to a range of businesses across the UK.

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the existing team of 3, working in a forward thinking, dynamic and relaxed environment. There is potential to progress within the business for the right candidate.

Salary is circa £18,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus company bonus payable based on performance, mobile phone and laptop are provided.

 

The position is full time, although part time hours will be considered.

 

The role of Accounts Assistant:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • Month End Preparation
  • Assist with P&L Reporting
  • Payroll
  • Liaising with HMRC and External Clients
  • General Admin and other ad hoc duties as required

Proven experience in a similar role desired. Strong all round accounts experience and ability to manage a wide variety of tasks without supervision essential.

 

The ideal Accounts Assistant:

  • Minimum 5 GCSE's - A-C. (Maths and English essential)
  • AAT is desirable
  • Previous experience of using cloud based accounting software desirable.
  • Good organisational, communication and IT skills.
  • Driven, professional, punctual, loyal, work to tight deadlines, flexible and pro-active.
