Formulations Manager

We are currently looking for a Formulations Manager who will utilise their nutritional knowledge to be responsible for compiling products that maximise animal health and performance by ensuring timely formulation to meet nutrient and ingredient specifications with raw materials available.  This role involves liaison with all functions across the business to ensure an efficient and optimised service to our customers.

You will be responsible for a small team that provides formulation services for customers, and for supporting technical services and marketing in the product development process. This is a hands on role where you will manage, lead and support the team and processes involved to ensure the production of accurate, least cost formulations and labels for all company manufactured products, meeting customer expectations in terms of turnaround time and accuracy.

The successful candidate will have a Degree in Animal Science or Nutrition and well-developed ERP and/or formulation software experience, with the ability to interrogate data. Previous experience within a customer facing role and of managing a small team would be advantageous.
