Accounts Assistant – Permanent - Telford

We are recruiting with an extremely successful, privately owned company in Telford for a new Accounts Assistant.  Based from their modern offices, this permanent position will suit an experienced, professional, Accounts Assistant who is looking for a new, challenging but rewarding role with genuine opportunities where they’ll be in a standalone role but reporting into and with support of the FC.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Input, maintenance and filing of both Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
  • Post all cash and reconcile card payments
  • Assist in credit control
  • Create Sales credit notes
  • Match off Purchase Ledger
  • Reconcile PL statements
  • Post remittance advices and sales ledger statements
  • Reporting and updating Ms Excel sheets

To be considered for this opportunity, you MUST have a stable, proven background in general accounts assistant based roles; possess excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), be diligent, methodical and accurate in your work.

You’ll be able to demonstrate excellent level of accuracy and IT skills (Inc advanced Ms Excel & Ms Word), ideally be educated to a good standard, specifically in English and Maths.  Above all, you will be motivated, professional and well organised.

This is a full time, Monday – Friday role with a salary of £20,000 - £25,000 (DOE).

The Telford site is commutable from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Walsall, Perton, Shifnal, Newport, Ironbridge etc
