PA / Administrator to Business Partner, Health Centre based in Bidford-on-Avon, £20,000 to £25,000 per annum dependent on experience, more than statutory holiday allowance and access to the NHS pensions scheme.

The Company:

The Health Centre is a large, modern and purpose-built health centre. We are a teaching and dispensing practice with a delivery service based in a beautiful semi-rural location. We have 15 consulting rooms and a full complement of health care staff, providing many different additional services such as anticoagulation, smoking cessation, phlebotomy, minor surgery and joint injections.

We are now looking for a PA / Administrator to support the Business Partner in the effective administration and management of the practice and complement our established friendly and caring team based.

This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday with a requirement to work flexibly and the opportunity to progress and develop.

PA / Administrator to Business Partner Main Duties:

  • Deputising for the Business Partner in their absence as regularly off site.
  • Acting as point of contact for NHS(E), CCG, suppliers and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the Business Partner in monitoring compliance with health and safety legislation, providing leadership and direction for staff.
  • Contributing to the effective practice training programme for all staff including monitoring mandatory training compliance.
  • Providing administrative support for compliance including GMC / NMC and insurances
  • Coordinating the practice & Business Partner diary, ensuring meetings are scheduled appropriately
  • Coordinating internal and external meeting arrangements, preparing agendas and producing minutes for meetings.
  • Liaising with our Patient Group, co-ordinating meetings and papers as required.
  • In conjunction with the Business Partner, setting and monitoring performance targets and identifying areas for improvement to enhance patient services including online services.
  • Assisting with the recruitment and induction of staff as requested
  • Supporting the review and updating of practice policies
  • Coordinating all staff absences, maintaining an effective absence register
  • Supporting the Business Partner with CQC compliance
  • Supporting the Business Partner as required with projects, systems and procedures

PA / Administrator to Business Partner Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role essential.
  • Driving licence and use of your own car is essential.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • IT literate and a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • High organised and able to multi-task.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
