Quality Control Assistant - Willenhall

We are looking  for a QC assistant  for our  busy  test Kitchen .

Middleton Foods is a family owned food manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton that is growing at an exceptional rate with new offices and factories opening during 2016.

Middleton's  take pride in the friendly team working here .Our bakery  QC department are looking for someone who can work as  part a team but also has the confidence to work alone and make decisions .

The ideal candidate would be friendly confident, motivated , enthusiastic  and outgoing ,flexible with an eye for detail and the ability to cope under pressure .We are not looking for formal qualifications but experience in working  in the food industry,QC environment would be an advantage .

The role requires Good numeracy, reading, writing and communication skills.

The job will involve testing (cooking)of finished product ,recording results , ensuring that labelling coding and packaging are correct, carrying out checks on sieves and metal detectors in the production area and helping to keep the test kitchen clean and tidy.There will be full training for the right candidate .

Middleton's operate  a 24hr shift system, hours may vary depending on requirements of the department ,such as holiday cover .  8hr daily 40hr per week permanent  -hours between 6am-10pm Mon -Friday &10pm 6am Sun evening -Sat morning

There is a 3 month probation period
