Internal Sales Manager, Engineering industry based in Warwick, Circa £30,000 per annum dependent on experience

The Company:

We are stockists and distributors of a range of specialist power transmission components, namely caliper disc brakes, right angle gear drives, variable speed drives, overhung load adaptors and torque limiters.

We supply some of the biggest industry names such as Bomag, CAT, JCB, Ransomes Jacobsen and Terex. Although our products are well proven in the construction industry other successful markets include:

•Agricultural •Groundcare •Materials Handling •Military •Railway Maintenance •Recreational

Founded in 1954, we have built a solid reputation as a supplier of quality products combined with outstanding service and customer support and we are now looking for an Internal Sales Engineer to build customer relationships and support the Company as a whole.

This is a full-time position.

Internal Sales Engineer Main Duties:

  • Effectively service the existing client base and develop and obtain new business where appropriate by providing excellent customer service and sales skills whilst being capable of discussing applications and issues on a technical level.
  • Providing Technical support and assistance to customers whenever required with the technical selection of the optimum product(s) for the application – liaising with our supply chain including key OEMs.
  • Preparing cost estimates, submitting quotations and pro-actively following them up.
  • Processing customer order entry into the ERP system and expediating accordingly.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure that orders are executed to specification and delivered on time.
  • Supporting the development of operational processes within the sales office.
  • Managing the day-to-day workload of the Warehouse Operations.
  • Acting as lead contact and assisting with the review and selection of preferred courier delivery services.
  • Being responsible for representing the Company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Complying with all Company policies and procedures and undertake any training as required and with all Health and Safety responsibilities and guidelines.

Internal Sales Engineer Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in commercial technical sales.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to show tenacity.
  • Versatility within the Company.
  • Ability to develop excellent working relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Professionalism in and out of the work place, including with other staff members.
