Apprentice Knitting Technician

Apprentice Knitting Technician - Matlock, Derbyshire

The role commences at National Apprenticeship rate and increases in 6 monthly increments.

We have opportunities for  Apprentices within our Shima and P500/Fully Fashioned Knitting Sections who will be taken through a 2 year Level 3 NVQ, learning to operate and maintain our Knitting Machinery.   Salary will commence at Apprentice rate and then will be assessed periodically (normally 6 monthly) throughout the Apprenticeship and increase providing training targets are completed.

There is also opportunities for Linking/Seaming and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeships.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals wishing to develop their skills within Textiles and manufacturing.

Ideally candidates will have GCSE English, Maths and IT grade C or above.  We are looking for candidates who have:

• Listening skills
• Team Work
• Problem Solving/Logical ability
