New Business Manager – Shrewsbury - Permanent
We are now recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected, Shrewsbury based concern for a New Development Business / Sales Manager. This permanent role will suit an experienced Sales Manager / BDM who is looking for their next challenge. You will be selling into B2B into retail operations and will ideally have done this previously.
Strong relationships are forged with their customers all over the UK and you’ll be at the forefront of securing and developing these.
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Establish and develop key accounts
- Manage your own sales process
- Develop existing relationships
- Carry our customer reviews
- Attend trade exhibitions
- Carry out market research and competition analysis
To be considered for this excellent position, you MUST have an excellent track record in Sales and New Business Development. You will be professional, flexible, well organised, IT literate and have a professional approach to dealing with both internal and external customers.
You will ideally be degree educated and have experience in a similar Sales / BDM role, ideally selling into retail businesses. You MUST have a valid UK drivers’ licence and the role will involve some travel while attending client meetings.
The role comes with a generous salary and bonus structure. Salary is c£30,000 plus £7,000 OTE bonus.
The site is commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Market Drayton, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Newport, Walsall, Stafford etc
