Customer Service Assistant / Team Member - Barrow in Furness

We are currently recruiting for a talented customer service assistant to work at our highly successful Apollo Bingo Club in Barrow in Furness. You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting and greeting Customers
• Providing help and assistance to customers
• Serving/preparing food and beverages
• Selling Bingo Books/packages
• Giving change
• Providing customer service on the bingo hall floor
• Ensuring all fruit machines are kept clean and presentable
• A willingness to call bingo once you have been fully trained in this area
• Any other duties to support the smooth running of the Club

Skills & Experience:

• Customer service experience (ideally in bingo or in the hospitality/entertainment industry)
• Experience of working with food and beverages
• Good communication skills
• Cash handling experience
• A good work ethos:
• Are you happy to help out and go the extra mile
• Punctual
• Hard working
• And have a smart appearance

Working Hours:

This is a permanent part time position, working around 16 hours per week, with a rate of pay of £7.83 per hour plus double pay if you work on a designated bank holiday day.  This rate will increase to £8.21 per hour from 1st April 2019.

Hours of operation are from 11am to 11pm 7 days per week and work patterns will include a variety of afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
