Demand Chain Manager – Permanent – Telford

We are currently recruiting with a large manufacturing company in Telford for a new Demand Chain / Production Planning Manager. Based from their site in Telford, this is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader and to work for a supportive and professional employer. You’ll be working as part of their Operations Team and covering Production and Demand Planning, CRM support, Staff Management and Supply Chain.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Demand and capacity management
• Prepare and control business plans and budgets
• Supporting the Operations team as a whole
• Support customers relating to demand scheduling, deliveries and sales demands
• Work with NPI and discontinuations
• Production Planning
• Work closely with purchasing with stock holding and forecasting
• Line Management
• Various Lead role in ad hoc projects

To be considered for this role you will have worked in a similar role within a mass production, manufacturing / warehousing environment. You will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated & flexible in your approach to work.

You will ideally be degree educated (in a Business Management or Engineering related subject) and APICS qualification is also desired.  You will have previous man-management experience, have a thorough understanding of business systems and high-level negotiation skills.
