Laundry Operative

We are currently looking for a Laundry Worker to support our growth in our Bedford Laundry.

As a Laundry Worker you will be responsible for sorting garments ready for washing, loading and unloading industrial sized washing machines and dryers, inspecting, repairing and folding garments ready for packing, will also have extremely accurate sewing skills, excellent attention to detail, previous experience working with industrial sewing machines and checking own quality against operational guidelines.

What we’re looking for

Someone who is tenacious, positive and energetic; ready to take on each day as a new challenge. You do not need to have any experience as a textile worker or in a laundry, we will give full training, we are looking for someone who has an eye for detail and a flexible adaptable approach to work. We work to a double day shift on a rotating basis and would need people available to work for 8 hours between the hours of 6am-10pm
