Product Manager – Feed Additives

We are currently looking to recruit a Product Manager focussing on driving profitable growth within our feed additive product range, with a particular focus on Preservation products.

The Product Manager will take responsibility for their products by setting the strategy and plans, based on a clear understanding of market trends and opportunities. A significant focus of the role is to identify, target and develop new business for sales of the product range.

Using your personal expertise, experience, marketing insights and data to develop the marketing strategy for a range of feed additives within the feed safety and preservation categories, you will also work closely with a global marketing team to bring applications from R&D through to trials and prepare and lead the market launch process. You will also be involved in establishing pricing strategies to achieve financial budgets and targets.

Applicants will have experience of the animal feed industry particularly relevant to the feed safety and preservation product range and ideally gained within a similar Product Management role.  As this role requires a mix of commercial and technical ability a degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Biological Sciences or Agriculture would be essential.

The successful candidate will be results focused with good negotiation skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. You will be motivated and able to work on your own and in a team and you will be able to demonstrate strong presentation skills.  Whilst the position can be home based, you will need to have a regular presence in the office and must be willing to travel.
