Customer Service Manager – Permanent - Telford

We are representing a well-respected and secure Telford based manufacturing company in their search for a Customer Service Manager.  This permanent position will suit an experienced Customer Service Manager (office based) who is looking for a busy, demanding but rewarding role for a locally based, multi-national manufacturer.

Managing a team of 12 customer service administrators on a day to day basis, you will be ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Management of your own and teams’ workload (duties such as processing of orders, arranging deliveries, dealing with complaints etc)
  • Statistical analysis and implementing improvements
  • Complaint resolution and proactive planning to improve procedures
  • Work closely with sales
  • Recruitment, retention and appraisals
  • Training
  • Ad hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role candidates must have man-management experience within a customer service / office-based environment, be well organised with key attention to detail, be an excellent communicator and team player, be able to prioritise and delegate and be able to lead a team to deliver success under pressure.

Hours of work Monday – Friday with slight flexibility of shift pattern required.
