National Account Manager
Account Manager – Telford – Permanent
We are recruiting for a new Account Manager / National Account Manager / Key Account to join one of Telford’s fastest growing and most successful companies. This permanent position will suit a tenacious, professional Account Manager/ National Account Manager who is looking for a new challenge in a company that offers genuine reward.
Reporting into the Internal Sales Manager, duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Establish and develop Key Accounts
- Manage sales pipeline
- Develop existing customer accounts and maximise revenues
- Account Manage professionally and to a consistently high level exceeding KPI’s
- Strive to surpass targeted sales quotas
- Generate quotes
- Monitor markets and competitors
- Work closely with Sales Admin support
- Update CRM
- Attend client meetings
- Keep abreast of latest products, industry developments and technology

To be considered for the role, you MUST have a proven sales background, ideally in a consultative sales environment and with experience of face to face and telephone-based sales within a technical sector and a proven ability to develop accounts.
You MUST also have experience of dealing with high spending, major / key accounts and ideally someone who has had to generate account development plans and forecasts for said accounts.
You’ll be tenacious, driven and self-motivated. You’ll also be professional in your manner, approach and communication skills.
Up to £30K basic salary and OTE £22K+ plus other bonuses and a great all round package
Due to the nature of the role, you MUST have a valid UK driving licence.
The company is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Perton, Shifnal and Market Drayton, Ironbridge, Walsall, Stafford etc.
