We are now looking for a Senior Stock Controller & Logistics Manager to join our team.

This is a permanent position working, full or part time, hours to be agreed.

Senior Stock Controller & Logistics Manager Main Duties:

  • Accountable for the management of stock to include accurate stock levels/pricing and quality. Providing timely reports to the FM for the preparation of cashflow reporting and payment schedules.
  • To identify supply chain vulnerability, source new suppliers and qualify suitability.
  • To manage suppliers, including negotiating rates, monitoring performance and ensuring high level performance delivery.
  • To ensure that all stock movements are documented and accounted for to include Bills of Material.
  • To manage the operations team ensuring that they have regular performance reviews and annual appraisals.
  • To develop the team and ensure that the operations work flexibly to support the expedition of orders and resolution of order tracking queries.
  • Accountable for service delivery to customers ensuring that all orders are dispatched and fulfilled on time and in full.
  • Accountable for quality control of all products.
  • To be available for out of hours emergencies- burglar/fire alarm.
  • Manage and audit H&S providing assurance to the management team and the board.
  • Maintain accurate register of onsite attendance for all staff noting holidays and absence.
  • Provide monthly reports for the board.
  • Accountable for the security/maintenance and repair of the building.

Senior Stock Controller & Logistics Manager Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • CIPS Level 4 minimum
  • Experienced buyer and negotiator
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experienced Team Manager
  • Used to working in a fast customer service environment and to deadlines
  • Good financial understanding
  • Analytical and problem solving
  • Minimum grade C in Maths and English
  • Knowledge of H&S / COSHH and ISO processes
  • Knowledge of export procedures and logistics
