Arthur David Food With Service Ltd is a fast paced fruit,vegetable and ingredients wholesale company delivering pristine produce with excellent customer service to a range of establishments across the South and South West.

As a Fine Foods Procurement Assistant your daily tasks will include :  

• Assist Fine Foods manager with daily ordering of products as required.
• Confirm in purchase orders on ISSAC system.
• Create purchase orders on ISSAC system.
• To organise stock transfers between the other company distribution centres.
• Manage the day to day buying function. Using ISSAC and other computer packages assess the buying requirements of Fine Foods and place orders with suppliers as necessary.
• Analyse purchasing data from in-house systems to ensure we are obtaining best value supply agreement.
• Contact suppliers concerning rejected products, produce rejection paperwork.
• Liaise with warehouse department regarding incoming deliveries.
• To stock take and organise stock in the warehouse area when necessary.
• Liaise with pricing manager & analyst to plan forward pricing files.
• Assist purchase ledger department with invoice queries
• Understand all aspects related to Quality and Compliance
• Place orders with suppliers as required.
