Job Details
We are currently recruiting for a talented customer service assistant to work at our highly successful Rio Bingo Club in Canvey Island. You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting and greeting Customers
- Providing help and assistance to customers
- Selling Bingo Books/packages
- Giving change
- Providing customer service on the bingo hall floor
- Ensuring all fruit machines are kept clean and presentable
- Serving/preparing basic food and beverages
- A willingness to call bingo on stage once you have been fully trained in this area
- Any other duties to support the smooth running of the Club
Skills & Experience:
- Customer service experience (ideally in bingo or in the hospitality/entertainment industry)
- Good communication skills
- Cash handling experience
- Experience of working with food and beverages
- A good work ethos:
- Are you happy to help out and go the extra mile
- Punctual
- Hard working
- And have a smart appearance
Working Hours:
This is a permanent part time position, working a minimum of 16 hours per week, with a rate of pay of £7.83 per hour plus double pay if you work on a designated bank holiday day.
Hours of operation are generally from 11am to 10pm 7 days per week and work patterns will include a variety of afternoon, evening and weekend shifts therefore flexibility is key.
