Due to our success, popularity and commitment to delivering the best in customer experience, we are now looking to increase our team of Technicians with an individual that shares our passion and enthusiasm.

Job Purpose:

We have a long history of servicing and restoring classic Mercedes-Benz models, and are now expanding the offering to include ‘modern classics’ from the German marque - cars made between ≈1980 and ≈2000. Your role will be mechanical maintenance and repairs for these vehicles. 

There is no age barrier to this business. Whether you are young and enthusiastic with experience, or have a head full of grey hair earned from decades spent underneath cars of all shapes and sizes, then we would love to hear from you.

Statements of accountability:

• Mechanical servicing and repairs to vehicles as per client schedules
• Filling out job cards to include details of all work done and any tests completed
• Recording all ‘clock’ details for each job undertaken to keep an accurate record of time per job
• Plan work procedures using technical manuals and experience
• Liaise with the Workshop Controller to establish and understand vehicle issues and to discuss the work to be performed in order to build a work flow for each car
• Ensure old parts and consumables are disposed with in accordance with company policy and procedure
• Keep up to date with current ‘best practice’ relating to Mercedes-Benz models
• Adhere to all housekeeping and health & safety procedures

Knowledge & Skills:

• Hold a recognised mechanical qualification
• Experience of servicing and repairing classic cars, ideally in a workshop environment
• Genuine interest in the Mercedes-Benz brand
• Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written
• Can work under pressure to achieve deadlines whilst ensuring quality is not compromised
