The Financial Management Centre, an accountancy practice based in High Wycombe, has a fantastic opportunity for an Accountancy Practice Manager to join their established team. 

Part of a wholly owned and Franchise network with 15 offices around the UK, The Financial Management Centre have supported and delivered a passionate and professional service to thousands of SME's over the last 10 years, and have exciting plans to grow the network and continue to deliver an innovative solution to our clients.

You will provide a key role managing the finance functions of the existing SME client base along with that of the business and managing members of a diverse team of 6 who are at different stages of their accountancy careers. 

Leading from the front, you will have a hands-on role, and be expected to focus on customer retention and business development, whilst proactively seeking potential opportunities to build the client base along with a willingness to undertake assignments when necessary. 

You will oversee the full bookkeeping requirements and management accounts production, quarterly VAT returns, statutory year-end accounts and taxation work along with cash flow and other ad-hoc reporting for a multitude of clients across a broad range of different industries using the major accounting packages. Working closely with clients and providing them with advice to ensure that they are running their businesses efficiently and profitably is key to how our business operates. You should have experience of advising accounting and non-accounting people.

Previous managerial or supervisory experience of a finance team within industry or practice will be required for this position. Excellent communication and organisation skills compiled with the ability to achieve success through people. A Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA), you must have several years’ experience within an accountancy practice and hold a practicing licence. Experience of cloud software packages is also a must have for applicants.
