Stores Controller

Stores Person – Permanent - Telford

We are recruiting with a Telford based, manufacturer for a new Stores Person on a permanent basis. Based in their modern facility, this permanent position will suit an experienced Stores Person / Stores Controller / Senior Warehouse Op / Distribution Co-ordinator who is looking for a new opportunity in a supportive business with lots of overtime (paid at a premium) available to boost your earnings.

Based in a small team, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Unloading deliveries (Counter Balance FLT licence is therefore required)
• Booking of stock onto the internal computer system
• Checking against relevant PO’s
• Putting stock away in to correct bins
• Re-works
• Operating machinery to support production
• Distributing parts around the business
• Occasional UK deliveries (Valid UK Drivers licence is therefore required)

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you MUST have worked in a similar role, ideally within an assembly / manufacturing / small parts stores environment.

You MUST also be IT literate, have a valid UK drivers licence and a Counter Balance FLT licence (though the FLT work is only occasional).

You’ll be reliable, well organised, flexible and hard working. You MUST also be happy working regular Saturday morning overtime (paid at time and a half) as this will be a regular requirement.

The site is commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Shifnal, Market Drayton etc
