Visual Merchandiser (Flagship Oxford Street Store)

Our new flagship store on Oxford Street presents an innovative approach of putting the customer at the centre through an authentic design and technology experience. 

We are looking for a Visual Merchandiser with a passion and interest in fashion to join our Oxford Street Flagship store VM team. The role will suit someone who has good awareness of what makes an attractive display and who is eager to learn, work in a team and achieve excellent sales results through high quality visual merchandising activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Displaying the products according to company guidelines, promotional activities and in line with seasonal trends as advised by the VM Manager
• Styling of mannequins and displaying outfits and merchandise throughout the store
• Implementing floor layouts and merchandising whilst always maintaining excellent store standards
• Working with the VM team to create excellent visual displays that embody our brand identity
• Supporting the store team on the shopfloor by providing excellent customer service and sales support
• Offering training and sharing information with the store team on garment presentation

The ideal candidate will:

• be very organised, an excellent planner and able to priorities activities well
• have great attention to detail and able to utilise creativity at work
• have previous experience working in a similar role within a retail environment including creation of displays
• be motivated to succeed and able to work unsupervised with tight deadlines and turnover times
• have excellent communication skills and will be able to take instruction well and share knowledge with others
• thrive in a fast-paced and pressured retail environment
• be self-motivated and able to inspire others to achieve high standards at work

The VM team work on a varied shift rota Monday through Sunday with early start times and late finish times including working on weekends and regular overnight shifts to support the store VM requirements.
