Finance Team Leader – Telford - Permanent

We are recruiting with a well-established and successful organisation in Telford for a new Finance Team Leader / Assistant Management Accountant. The role will suit an experienced Finance Team Leader /  Accounts Manager / Assistant Management Accountant who is looking for a role within a supportive and professional business.

Working 09:00 – 17:30, Monday Friday, this role will suit a Finance Supervisor / Team Leader / Assistant Management Accountant who ideally has supervisory experience and who is ideally CIMA or AAT qualified, though QBE will be considered.

Duties will include:

• Produce Monthly Management accounts
• Quarterly VAT
• Year End accounts
• Support Payroll and HR
• Cash Management
• Submit BACS payments
• Supplier payments
• Help supervise the day to day activities within the accounts team
• Training and development of the team

To be considered for this role, you MUST have experience in a similar level post, ideally with a relevant qualification (or studying towards) in AAT or CIMA though  QBE will be considered for the right person.

You’ll be professional, personable and committed as well as being able to demonstrate strong man-management skills as well as high level of proficiency in IT (Ms Excel inc V Look Ups). 

The site is commutable to from most parts of Telford on public transport, though is also accessible with your own transport from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Newport, Shifnal, Market Drayton, Telford etc
